About TCH Caregiver's Heart
Our Story
TCH Caregiver’s Heart was born out of my own personal journey. In November 2022, my wife, Terri, was gifted with a heart transplant. As her caregiver, I was fortunate to find a support community that became a lifeline—offering comfort, connection, and understanding when I needed it most. That experience made a lasting impact on my role as a caregiver, and it inspired me to create a space for others walking a similar path.
This virtual support circle, TCH Caregiver’s Heart, is a resource for anyone who cares for or supports an organ transplant recipient - whether you’re preparing for a transplant, navigating recovery, or somewhere in between. Caregiving is an emotional and demanding experience, and it’s important to have a safe, understanding space where you can share your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
